Oh, Foodycat, I finished the last punnet of local strawberries last week -- I smile when I think how we're upsidedown to you in seasons.

The weirdest thing happened this morning. I had a dream and you and Mr Foodycat were in it, but the component with Mr Foodycat was turning into one of *those* dreams and I woke up before it went too far. Then he appeared in the next dream when I was in a library and he was telling me to find a book by a certain author who I can't remember but the books were shelved randomly. The weird thing is I have no idea what he looks like in real life -- I wonder where it all came from.

Cranky - thank you for not letting it go too far! What did he look like?

Kat - we've had 2 now! So sweet and delicious.

Foodycat, have you ever heard the Tom Jones song "Pussycat, Pussycat"? That song runs through my mind everytime I say you name. Crazy, huh? Anyway, I tried growing my own strawberries for the first time this year. I was so amazed at watching it go from a flower to the strawberry. Watching it start to blush with a slight pink and then going into full color was incredible. I actually took some pictures that I will share one of these days online Nature. Isn't it grand? :)

Hi foodycat, Carolena here from Directors Cut. Can you re-comment to Day 6-the flood. I think when I post the photo, it wiped out the comments.
All the best and thanks for your support.

About 5'11", fair and clear skin, close-cropped brown hair and clean shaved, large dark blue eyes with a hint of stormy violet/grey with eyelashes to die for. (It's embarrassing I don't know what day it is half the time but I have photographic memory of my sleeping life.)

I'm beside myself laughing at the dream image of Mr foody!

Love the strawberry flower. We had a couple of passionfruit flowers last weekend. Also a lovely sight.

My strawberries are still green at the moment, they won't be long now though!

I just love the first strawberries of the season. I think Ontario's are still a few weeks away.

Teresa - it is wonderful isn't it? The thing that surprised me was that the seeds blushed with colour first!

Carolena - thanks for visiting! Yay! My one post suitable for a vegan's eyes!

Heather - thanks!

Cranky - oooh, he sounds nice!

Mother - his beard is even thicker than at Christmas! Passionfruit flowers are very pretty. They do well here, although the fruit don't come to much.

Sam - patience!

Natashya - I'm not surprised! Your climate is a lot colder!
