Fresh from the farm?
Fresh from the supermarket! But they are from an old-fashioned breed.
Burford Brown or Cotswold Legbar? I love them both.

Look at those orange yolks! Either the hens were very, very happy and well looked after, or they've been eating a lot of orange popsicles ;)
Here we have araucana hens laying blue-shelled eggs that are quite lovely. Nice range of yolk color!
Laura - I would be a happy hen if I were fed a lot of orange popsicles! Simona - One day I hope to taste one of those eggs!
Those are just beautiful eggs--I never seen such pretty colors. ;-)
