So we pootled around Singapore for a few hours - completely failing to consider that it is incapacitatingly hot. Then we had a very good curry at an unremarkable food court, tried desperately to rehydrate, and went to the airport. I like that you can hardly tell the difference between the real animals and the statue!
Mother - that was Paul's. It was a lamb curry (I had chicken), with pilau rice, achar & a poppadom, served very nicely on a banana leaf. It was a pretty straightforward curry - mid-level heat, succulent meat (on the bone), whole spices - but it was delicious.

It was so fun to catch up with you and see more of your trip! Life has been so busy this month that blogging the way I love has become a luxury.
24 hours in Singapore...sigh...
I've never tried a Singapore Sling, but you've convinced me I can die in peace without trying that potion.
I'm so glad "your" place was as good as you remembered - and that some of the servers were still there! That is rare in the restaurant industry.
Laurie - I am glad you enjoyed it! I can't believe that less than a month ago I was in that sort of heat!
