Urchin and the Carpet

Haven't had any cat pictures for a while! She's 18 months old now and in the middle of a bit of a growth spurt. She's still very dainty but she is beginning to grow into those enormous paws.

This is one of Urchin's favourite games - the monster under the carpet. She is now onto her third one of those feather ticklers, because she is so vicious with it when she catches it, but we think it is a small price to pay for the entertainment of a cat.

Dave - oh how sad! I am sure they are missing you too.

  7. That was a fun watch. Our Sebastian likes to hide under the rug which is in the kitchen. We go along with his game and pretend he is really invisible. He is actually careful in putting all his body under the rug. Urchin is a beautiful cat!

  8. Teresa - the fluff is absurd! She is shedding at the moment and the house is covered in drifts.

Simona - I am glad Sebastian does it too. Sometimes I worry that Urchin is just weird!

  9. She is absolutely gorgeous! I miss my cats being that young and sweet. Now they're cantankerous old men who do nothing but bitch and gripe that they can see the bottoms their food bowls. Sigh.

  10. My cats do that with the quilt cover, which is kind of funny until I realise how much they are to replace!

What a stunning young lady kitteh, and what a glorious tail!

  13. Heather - I confess, I wouldn't mind if she slowed down a little bit!

Cranky - I like how you can really see her tail stripes in that video.

Sue - well yes, it does keep us amused for hours!

Deb - whoever invented the feather tickler is a genius!
